• gain knowledge about the different types of private practice
• know how to get client referrals
• understand how to work with managed care companies
• know how to effectively run a private practice
• get the basics on developing a business plan
• have the opportunity to connect with those already in private practice for additional support
• feel empowered to start their own private practice
